Who Was That Masked Writer?

I've been writing all my life. My earliest inspirations were Terry Pratchett, Diana Wynne Jones, and my namesake, Robert A. Heinlein.

I wrote my first complete short-story when I was just eight years old. Just a few years later, I made my first professional sale with the story "Fate Dogs" in the Anthology Fate Fantastic. I continued submitting to anthologies and writing, and at the age of 14 I branched out and wrote my first novel, Cat's Paw, which is still available on Amazon (shameless plug!). At present I have one novel, two novellas, and several short stories in print both independently and in anthologies. My stories tend to range from fantasy to horror with occasional science fiction thrown in. There's something for everyone.

I've probably met some of the people reading this at various writer's conferences, both in and out of Colorado. I've been pleased to meet fans and do readings of some of my recent work. It has
been gratifying and humbling to hear your kind words.

I currently live in Colorado with my beautiful wife Blake, and my cantankerous cat D'artagnan.

I'm excited to say that I have several projects currently underway, so be sure to check back often! In particular, look for a long-awaited collection of my short stories to be coming out in the near future. I don't have much of a social media presence - who has the time? - so this is the best place to keep tabs on me.

Thank you so much for coming by, and enjoy the site!
